BOTANICAL GARDEN - TAL 2000, Zgornja Gorica

Tal 2000 is a small private botanical garden. It is located in the south of Maribor, between the villages Rače and Pragersko, at the settlement called Zgornja Gorica.

The Garden provides an insight into the biggest collection of live groving (wild) water and water-bank plants in Slovenia. There is also a collection of poisonous plants, a smal collection of minerals…

Visitors of the Garden may also have a look some medicinal herbs and buy young water, water-bank and decorative plants. The wisit to the Botanical Garden may be joined with a sightseeing tour around the
Rački ribniki-Požeg Regional Park, which is located in the immediate vicinity.

The Garden will be open to visits from the second half of May until the end of September:

• FOR GROUPS (over 10 visitors): all weekdays (by previous agreement!)
• FOR INDIVIDUAL VISITORS: Sundays; from 14:00 to 18:30.
